John Everett began to work for yes2wind ltd. in May 2009. In November 2010 he officially resigned as director of Green Campaigns.
Richard and John remain close friends and continue to work as colleagues in the promotion of wind energy.
Green Campaigns continue to be one of the licensed users of the Express Support software package for
letter generation and public consultation. This package is similar to that used by many national campaigning organisations
for creating letters and messages of support that are tailored to each person's concerns.
This is not as simple as it ought to be! Support for eco-friendly projects tends to be 'massive but passive'. That support must be galvanised, harnessed and expressed through positive, creative and dynamic campaigning. That's where Green Campaigns comes in.
Environmental campaigners Richard Claxton and John Everett
are co-directors of Green Campaigns Limited. Green Campaigns was set up by Richard
in 2005 in response to demands for campaign and consultancy services from wind farm
developers. John Everett became a co-director with effect from February 1st 2008.
Richard and John became involved in professional campaign work as a result of a
common background of voluntary work and activism for environmental pressure
groups over the course of several years. They remain enthusiastic volunteers
to this day and campaign with others on a wide range of environmental issues
including climate change, decentralised and renewable energy, ancient forests
and oceans.
Green Campaigns offers professional campaigning and public relations services in the fields of environmental protection, environmental sustainability and action to tackle climate change. The company specialises in promoting the use of clean, renewable energy technologies.
